FAQ

Check here first when something goes wrong. If it is still not solved, email team@support.tokilabs.xyz with the error message and the request time.

Errors

401 / invalid token
  • Make sure the key was copied completely (starts with sk-, no leading or trailing spaces).
  • The token may have expired, been disabled or run out of quota. Check its status in Console → Tokens.
  • An insufficient account balance also makes requests fail. Check “Wallet”.
Model does not exist or no available channel

Make sure the model name matches the model list exactly.

404 Not Found

Usually /v1 is in the wrong place:

  • Claude Code, Anthropic SDK: https://api.tokilabs.xyz (without /v1)
  • OpenAI SDK, Codex, Cursor, etc.: https://api.tokilabs.xyz/v1 (with /v1)
429 Too Many Requests

Too many requests in a short time. Wait a moment and retry; lower concurrency for batch jobs.

Configuration

Environment variables are set but have no effect
  • Windows: environment variables only apply to programs opened afterwards. Close all terminals and VS Code and reopen them; sign out and back in if needed.
  • macOS / Linux: run source ~/.zshrc (or ~/.bashrc), or open a new terminal window.
  • Use echo $ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL (PowerShell: $env:ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL) to confirm the variable exists.
Claude Code asks to sign in with an official account

Add "hasCompletedOnboarding": true to ~/.claude.json and make sure ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN is set. If you previously signed in with an official account, run /logout in Claude Code first. See Claude Code.

PowerShell says “running scripts is disabled”

Run once:

curl fails in PowerShell

In Windows PowerShell 5.1, curl is an alias for Invoke-WebRequest, which takes completely different arguments. Use curl.exe.

npm install -g fails with permission denied (EACCES)

This happens on macOS / Linux with the system Node. Install Node with nvm instead (see the Linux guide); do not use sudo npm.

Network

Request timeout or connection failure
  • First open api.tokilabs.xyz in a browser to make sure it is reachable.
  • If you use a proxy, check whether the HTTPS_PROXY / HTTP_PROXY environment variables point to a dead address. You can add api.tokilabs.xyz to NO_PROXY to connect directly.
  • Corporate networks may block HTTPS requests; try another network.
Connection drops during long generations

Enable streaming (stream: true) and set the client timeout to 10 minutes or more.

Billing

How is usage billed?

You are billed for the tokens you actually use, with separate prices for input, output, and cache reads and writes. See the pricing page for prices; per-call details are in Usage logs.

What if my key leaks?

Delete the token immediately in Console → Tokens, then create a new token and update it in your tools.
